November 26, 2010 Final GINA Regulations and What They Mean For Employers

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission has issued its final regulations that interpret and implement the nondiscrimination requirements of the Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act. In general, the final regulations don’t differ substantially from the ones proposed by the agency in 2008. But the final regulations do provide specific examples of what employers must do - and refrain from doing - in order to comply.
